At various points in all our lives, we will face challenges and trials that will rock us to our very core. For some of us, that may look like times when we feel like our identity is shifting, or we may feel like we have completely lost our sense of self. We may feel confused, worried, and unhappy. It may be hard for us to imagine there is a light at the end of the tunnel, that things could ever get better from here.
As a therapist, I believe that my role is to walk alongside you through these moments, supporting you in navigating all of the complexities that life has to offer. Healing and personal growth are paramount in my philosophy, and I am here to companion you with every step in the journey you decide to take. It takes a good deal of courage to reach out for support, and I applaud anyone who takes this leap of faith and chooses to live in those feelings of uncertainty.
I graduated from the University of Utah’s Master of Social Work program in May of 2025 where I primarily spent my time working in both inpatient and outpatient medical and mental health facilities. I do my best to tailor my therapeutic technique to your individual needs, goals, and hopes for our time together while honoring and recognizing your strengths and expertise. I am experienced in several evidence-based therapy models, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy. I am a big proponent of practicing mindfulness, gratitude, self-compassion, and radical acceptance. While I have worked with folks in behavioral health across the lifespan, I am most passionate about working with adults of all ages seeking support for mood disorders, anxiety, interpersonal conflicts/breakups/divorce, changes in health status, periods of transition or adjustment, and experiences of grief and loss arising from various circumstances. I desire to affirm and support folks from all walks of life, including individuals identifying as or allies of the LGBTQIA+ community.
In my free time, you’ll probably find me somewhere outside exploring the beautiful landscape that Montana has to offer. I enjoy hiking, biking, backpacking, paddle boarding, and foraging for new edible plants (although I am still learning this craft!). I love all things fermenting: I have an active kombucha colony and ginger bug at home I love to experiment new brews with, along with my various other cooking and baking endeavors.
I commend you on taking a chance towards healing, and I look forward to working with you more soon.
